Today we made our way down da bayou to my Uncle Jr's to watch the Saints game and stuff ourselves on awesome food.

Jesuit vs Rummel High. We had a good time tonight wandering around the outside of the field with the shelties and taking pictures.

Laundry night dinner.
I had the brilliant idea to turn the BBQ leftovers into fajitas. Yum!

I got new toe socks today to wear with my crazy toe shoes so my toes do not freeze off in this arctic weather.

Went out to watch fall kickball tonight in the rain and cold. I swear it is next to impossible to get a good shot out there. Here's the best I got...

We had a BBQ for the Saints game this week complete with shrimp and steak kabobs, grilled veggies, sausage, burgers, chicken, and steak. Yay leftovers!


The dogs, especially Barley, enjoyed some raw deer bones.

BTW, Saints are now 9-0. WHODAT baby!

We got free tickets to the SPCA's Howling Success last night. We dressed as pirates! This woman gave me so much free Old New Orleans Rum that I puked! Love her!


The event was held at the eastbank location of Mardi Gras world. They have a courtyard complete with fake trees and a ceiling with a night scene so realistic I really thought I was outside until someone told me different.

Basset hound in a cage = saddest thing ever.
This poor guy is with us for the week. He's currently paralyzed in the rear.

Italian Greyhounds are not so much dogs as little alien creatures. Fais, my boss' IG, is sleeping with her nose tucked into her hock.

If anyone can tell me what the heck these tiny little fuckers on the back of the leaves of my garden are and how to get rid of them, I would really really appreciate it.
